Headquarters, Division West, First Army
Fort Carson, CO
The U.S Army facility at Fort Carson oversees the training and mobilization of designated
active and reserve forces. Due to the growth of operations at the post, the headquarters
and its 220-plus personnel were relocated to another building. The building was originally
a Korean War era barracks that was completely gutted and renovated to accommodate Division
West's specialized functions.
The design plan reapportioned open areas to make the most of available space for training,
communications, accounting, logistics and operations. Many of the offices were inherently
compact, so there was a need for furnishings that would bring efficiency to smaller
footprints. An array of styles and materials were required to answer needs for administrative
functions and provide desired aesthetics in command areas.
The finished space provides a pleasing, comfortable and productive environment that enhances
the effectiveness of Division West's critical mission to prepare soldiers for duty.

State of Kansas, Kansas Statehouse
Topeka, KS
In 2000, the Kansas legislature approved funding to restore the state's capitol.
The landmark structure, completed in 1903 after 37 years of work, had seen its
last major renovation in 1917.
The design plan called for a more effective and efficient use of space, greater
efficiency in layout, improved proximity between functional areas and greatly
enhanced service for citizens. Based on quality, appearance and cost, the
selection committee chose National™ to provide furniture. In making their
decision, officials were mindful to complement the design integrity of the
building with furnishings made for enduring service.
National has played a vital role in the landmark restoration by providing
furnishings of quality and style befitting elected officials and their
state’s grandest structure. The investment is a testament to the vision

University at Albany
Albany, New York
National was chosen to provide furnishings for the Life Sciences Research Building
renovation at the University at Albany.
There was a specific need to complement the light and airy character of the building
in a way that would enhance comfort and productivity. National rose to the challenge
to provide the perfect solution.
The ergonomic design, sleek styling and choices of woods, finishes, fabrics and
hardware provided ideal compliments to the space. The furnishings selected coordinate
with the architectural elegance and are in perfect tune with the university's

Mutual 1st Federal
Omaha, Nebraska
Mutual 1st Federal Credit union is a full-service financial cooperative in Omaha, Nebraska.
To better serve customers, the organization developed a plan to bring the operations of two
locations under one roof. The new building would improve drive-through services, ease
physical access to the customer lobby and allow the additional of new services.
Furnishings were required that would enable employee productivity and contribute to an
environment that helps customers feel at ease. As well, the finished space had to compliment
an established, respected institution that is starting a new chapter in its 55-year history
with expanded capabilities and a drive to attract new customers.
At the end of the grand opening Mutual 1st Federal directors introduced their community to
a well-appointed, full-service retail branch and administrative offices. National Office
Furniture is proud to have been chosen to serve the institution’s ongoing effort to realize
a vision as the premier financial service provider in the Omaha metro area.

First Federal Savings Bank
Evansville, Indiana
First Federal Savings Bank has served the greater Evansville, Indiana community as a
savings and loan institution since 1906. In recent years, it has evolved beyond traditional
thrift services to become a full-service commercial bank. This transition and the
accompanying growth created the need for a new corporate office and seventh branch on the
city's developing northeast side.
The space needed to convey a progressive corporate image characterized by security,
strength, comfort and hospitality. A mix of National products was used to enhance the
warmth and comfort of customer areas. Handsome veneer was chosen for some offices, while
laminate was the perfect choice for more labor intensive areas. A lustrous National veneer
conference table brought elegance to the conference room.
The new First Federal office building off Evansville's bustling North Green River Road
corridor stands as elegant proof of its dedication to customers and community.

CHRISTUS Health
Dallas, TX
The Information Management Department of CHRISTUS Health is the communications center of a
top-ten Catholic health system serving a large number of hospitals and health facilities in
six U.S. states and Mexico.
Existing furnishings from the 1950s and 1960s, were ill suited to the department's processes
and workflow. In addition, managers believed an eventual physical relocation of their
department was likely. They needed an ergonomic, modular solution within a defined budget.
A modest, inflexible budget made cost a significant factor in every design and purchase
decision throughout the project. National was selected to accommodate the set budget and
offer an office furniture solution that would fit the diverse needs of this company.
National casegoods brought the desired efficiency. In addition to flexible configurations
and ample storage needs, the chosen furnishings will allow the department to adapt readily
if expansion or relocation becomes necessary. The comfortable contours of National seating
completed the ergonomic solution.

The expansion of Draka Distribution USA in Houston required furnishings for executive
offices, sales offices, a boardroom, a break room, and reception and waiting areas. The
company wished to apply existing standards to sales areas and adopt a specification for
added elegance in the executive offices.
The finished space presents a perfect self-expression of the designer’s ideas. National
